Handle with Care

I've been thinking a lot today about how fragile life is. Things can change from one moment to the next. How one person's life can be moving along fine while another's world is ripped apart.

Do they think, "How can the world go on when this is happening to me?" I guess that's when you call on your faith to help you get through it and see the sense.

What's Next?

Well, I guess I could start by telling you that although things aren't "fairy tale" perfect in my life, I've got it pretty good--a husband that loves me (I'm pretty sure), two looney kids, a roof over my head, a car in the driveway...

But, why is it that we always want more? Everywhere you look people are wanting more.

Not a Fairy Tale World

As a child you dream of meeting the man of your dreams, Prince Charming, a knight in shining armour, Romeo. You dream of living in a fabulous mansion, having the dream job making 6 figures (or not having to work), having beautiful children, and the world at your fingertips.

When you grow up, you realize quickly that life is not a fairy tale world. You live in a world filled with anger, pain, aggression, and paranoia. Not every day is disaster, but not every day is love and laughter.
